RCQ takes out Master Builders Project of the Year July, 2008

A premium medium rise, environmentally sensitive apartment development overlooking Noosa Sound has been awarded the Master Builders Regional Project of the Year at the 2008 Sunshine Coast Master Builders Housing and Construction Awards held over the weekend.
Elandra Settlers Cove was built by locally based Queensland construction company RCQ who also took out top gong in the Residential Buildings (High Rise over 3 storeys) $12 million to $60 million for Settlers Cove and the Residential Building (High Rise over 3 storey) up to $12 million for Waterline in Maroochydore.

Completed in mid-2007, Elandra Settlers Cove is a premium residential development consisting of 15 large apartments over 3 levels that boast state-of-the-art fixtures and fittings and an amenity that has set a new benchmark in finishes and design.
RCQ’s other award winning project, Waterline on Duporth Avenue, Maroochydore was completed in November 2007 and consists of 12 large ‘villas’ over 6 levels that provide extensive water views of the Maroochy River from picturesque Picnic Point.
Waterline and Settlers Cove belong to a growing series of prestigious developments by RCQ including the award-winning m1 building in Maroochydore, Linear at Caloundra, Karmasea in Alexandra Headlands and international resort Crowne Plaza Pelican Waters Golf Resort & Spa, which took out Project of the Year in the 2006 Master Builders Awards.
RCQ has offices in Townsville and the Sunshine Coast and handles more than $150 million worth of projects annually for a number of Queensland ’s most respected developers.
Most recently, RCQ has been appointed to build Beach on Sixth, a prestigious 33 apartment, 13 storey residential building in Maroochydore, as well as Fusion in Mackay, a luxury riverfront apartment building with construction scheduled to start this month.
